About Us
We, Amy Kennedy, an interior designer, and Matt Pugh, a designer and craftsman, form the collaborative duo of Kennedy Pugh Interiors. We have had a shared passion for good interior design since we met in 2005 and it is this that has led us to where we are today.

Amy has a particularly strong interest and appreciation in the value that artworks and lovely made objects can add to the soul of an interior. This has been informed by her arts background. After graduating from an Arts degree that specialised in textiles and sculpture, she began her career, working as an art gallery curator, becoming an owner and director of a contemporary art gallery in Bath.
Following her passion for interiors, in 2019 Amy went on to broaden her design knowledge and studied for a Certificate in Interior Design at the KLC School of Design in Chelsea Harbour, London, graduating with distinction.
Her love for sourcing, layering and pulling together of art and craft with colour, pattern, texture and furniture, balanced with careful space planning, is how she realises the potential and aims to create cohesive characterful spaces for her clients.
In home life, Amy and Matt have together renovated and redecorated several properties in Bath. Their most recent project has been managing and overseeing an exciting rebuild and remodel of part of their current family home, which now has arrived at the best bit… the interior! With this experience they bring a wealth of organizational skills, experience of all the decisions and fine details involved in building projects and eye for aesthetics to their work.

Matt has a passion for good design and has always striven to design and make things that will last.
He started out as an architectural modelmaker, working on a variety of large-scale commercial projects for architecture practices in London.
This was followed by a move into theatre set building and bespoke carpentry which subsequently progressed towards designing and making contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories from his studio and workshop nestled in the hills outside Bath.
In 2009 he launched Matt Pugh Design at the 100% Design show. He went on to regularly exhibit work at many design fairs, including Mason et Objet, Paris, the ICFF, New York, Grand Designs, and Clerkenwell design week. These fairs attracted press and buyers worldwide and his products were stocked in many stores such as the Conran shop, Heals and Liberty. His designs became known for their playful simplicity.
More recently Matt has taken a more commission based approach to his work, enjoying the diversity that comes with each new project. Ranging from bespoke furniture, to tree houses and garden studios, giant cartwheel chandeliers for Soho farm house, to full joinery packages for commercial and residential interiors.
Joining forces with his partner Amy, their vision for Kennedy Pugh Interiors is to work collaboratively and offer a holistic approach to each individual design project.
